Instructional Plan: 

  1. Engage students in discussions about Puerto Rico, Puerto Ricans, and it's 

     relationship to the United States.

   2. Instruct students how to operate a computer and to locate a url address on 

     the internet.


   3.  Explain the goals of the assignment 
                 a. To learn about the location of Puerto Rico
                 b.  To learn about the culture of Puerto Ricans
                 c.  To learn how to use a computer while engaged on the world wide 
                      web (www) or internet.
                 d.  To find and answer questions on a printed handout or 
                       computerized quiz.
                 e.  To learn how to e-mail the teacher. 
                 f.  To learn how to work cooperatively while engaged in seeking 
                      information while utilizing a computer. 
   4. Provide a pretest and posttest (printed handout) for assessment purposes.
