3.  Develop questions that will relate the information to other material or to
     personal experiences.

R = Read
Pay attention to reading skills:
1.  Read with accuracy
2.  Remember what is being read
3.  Highlight important information as you read (such as making notes, or outlining)
4.  Be careful not to highlight to much, this interferes with comprehension.

R = Recall
1.  Immediately after reading, try to answer in your own words questions, without
     looking back at information.
2.  Spend a few minutes thinking about the material
3.  Spend more time on recall than reading.  This will force students to check their
     own understanding and point out what was not understood.

R = Review
1.  Look back at questions, answers, notes and book or article to check recall.
2.  Make notes of the points you forgot or remembered correctly.
3.  Make sure notes are organized properly.
4.  Highlight and underline notes that are very important.
5.  Use memory techniques to assist in remembering.
