On the first day of school, students will need a three-ringed binder, a composition book or “neatbook”(a brand of notebook whose paper detaches but is not frayed as with a wire-bound notebook), a supply of three-holed notebook paper, five sharpened pencils, a small pencil-sharpener, and a folder.  Children should have extra materials at home to replenish these as necessary.  Needed later in the fall are shoe boxes (save extras if you have them!) and four colors of modeling clay.
