More WWI Pictures

I chose this painting because it looks more like a picture than a painting. The two men lying in the dirt, face down, shows how brutal the war was. The soldiers were so consumed in the war that they didn't have time to help those who were hurt until the shooting was over. The wire and guns in the painting symbolize, at least to me, that even with those advantages there is no sure way to win war.

My Hobby

My hobby is writing. I write poetry, short stories, and songs. I believe that my strong point in writing is poetry. Poetry is my way of "venting." Sometimes I can't talk to people, and it helps if I write it out.  In my opinion, my best poetry is depressing poetry. I don't like to say that I hate poetry, but I dislike love poetry. Love poetry sounds the same to me. The short stories I write are fable-like because I use them to remember the mistakes I have made. I wrote songs about a year ago, but I haven't had time lately to actually sit down and write the lyrics out.
This would be a good hobby to take up if you like to write and if you want way of getting out your stressful feelings.
