Book Reviews

In this section, I have a list of a few of my favorite books. I would also like to give you some brief descriptions of these books.

A Light in the Attic
Shel Silverstein
This book is great to read because it is just a
book of funny poetry.
The Magician's Nephew
C.S. Lewis
I recommend this book to anyone because it is a wonderful story about a boy whose uncle is a magician and creates a portal to a magical land called Narnia.
The Girl Who Owned A City
 O.T. Nelson
This is my favorite book because it is about a city that goes through a plague that kills all the adults and  leaves the
children to take care of themselves. Later they take over
the city.
Weetzie Bat
Francesca Lia Block
This book is about a girl who is alone and  finally makes some friends, and they start a family. They  live happily ever after.
 The Rose and the Beast
   Francesca Lia Block
This is a great book to read because it consists of about nine stories, and each one is better than the last.

Hobbies

This section will be about my hobbies. One of my favorite things to do is to listen to music. I like every type of music, but my favorite is pop. My next hobby is writing. I love to write, and I hope that some of my papers will be included in my site. I also love to read. Some of the books I have read are listed in my book reviews, but I have many other books that I hope to include later.

Personal Reflections

Image Source;World War 1 Art Archive

This World War 1 painting is interesting because it is basically a worried group of people.
They could be afraid because they know  the war will be coming soon, and/or they could be afraid for their relatives who will be going to war. These people seem to be in a tight space, and I think it is maybe because everyone wants to see what is going on. To me, this painting is saying that war is confusing and hectic just like the people in this painting. I think war is a waste of time because people are just taking innocent lives just so they can get their point across. This painting says a lot about war in general because, if you look at it long enough, you will start to feel the pain and confusion that these people felt being victims of this pointless thing called war.
