The Death
I feel this picture relates
to war because it shows all the colors of war: blue for all the good things
that the soldiers want to come of the war, red for the blood they are shedding,
and yellow for everything all mixed up together. The people in The Death
are frantic, scared, suffering, and dying. The picture shows the absolute
horror and pain of war. The picture captures a moment that obviously
reveals these soldiers did not want to die. The light from the flares shows
all those who had given their all in this "War to end all wars."

This is another novel I enjoyed because it tells a story about an Igbo man and how his whole life basically falls apart. He goes from being well known, respected and feared in his village to a man whose advice is ignored by his fellow tribesmen. He chooses to commit suicide instead of allowing the English to execute him.

Chicken Soup is a great book for many people. I enjoy reading this book because it gives me some insight into my personality and into why things happen. Chicken Soup is also a good book because it tells stories of people just my age who may have the same problems I do. I recommend this book to all people of all ages who are looking for a book with insights into everday life.

The hobby that I recommend is reading. Reading expands your imagination, your view of the world, and your vocabulary. Reading can relax you, make you laugh, make you cry, confuse you, or even take you on an adventure. There are many different types of books you can read--fiction, non-fiction, adventure, romance, mystery, and more. I really hope you take up this hobby, and you begin to love it just like I do.
