                    Annie's Baby,  Anonymous

This is about a fourteen year old girl who gets pregnant and confides all her feelings in her diary.  At the beginning her boyfriend is a really nice gentleman.  But later on he turns into a really big jerk and even rapes her. I recommend this book because it is a true diary and really shows the consequences of pregnancy.

Mick Harte Was Here is about the pain and suffering of a sister when her little brother dies in a bicycle accident. This book tells how that girl finally accepts her brother's tragic death.  I recommend Mick Harte Was Here because it is a touching story and clearly shows people how to overcome a loss.

                       Double Exposure, Stephen Collins

Double Exposure is about Joe McBride, a TV show critic, who moves to Manhattan with his fiancé.   When his fiancé dumps him, Joe encounters two twin sisters that are in love with him.  Double Exposure explains how Joe develops a romance with the twins.  There is only one problem; Joe's ex-fiance wants him back.  I recommend this book because it is exciting to see what a desperate man is capable of doing for a girl.

                      Things Fall Apart, Chinua Achebe

Things Fall Apart is based on how an Ibo village lost some of their traditional ways because Christians came and converted the some of the people. It specifically centered on how the main character, Okonkwo, is devastated by the fact that his culture is falling apart.

                                                               Soccer
Soccer is one of the things I most enjoy doing.  Soccer is a sport that requires a lot of concentration, skills, and endurance.  Although it is a lot of work, soccer is really fun, especially when one is getting totally involved in the game.  Soccer maybe a really fun sport, but, of course, it is no fun when a player gets hurt during a game.

Indoor soccer is the most fun and most exciting to play.  Indoor soccer is exciting to play because it is faster and more enjoyable.  I recommend soccer because it is a fun and exciting game to play.

                              My Reflection on War

Hopelessness, suffering, longing, and desperation are the emotions that are portrayed in this shocking image.  When I see this picture, I think of all those injured soldiers wondering if they would make it through the night.  I can imagine them crying in their sleep, trying to escape from the cruel reality of pain and death.  It must have been extremely hard for those soldiers yearning to see their families and not being able to.  I can also imagine some soldiers breathing their last and whispering their prayers to God for salvation.  This was the reality that those proud soldiers faced.  Now they only thought that, "It is good to die for your country," was all a big lie.
