                 Hobbies:

I have many hobbies such as reading, writing, drawing, and singing. The hobby I partake in the most is singing. Music has influenced my life in a big way. Without music my life would lack the creativity and freedom of revealing my inner emotions. I am truly blessed and grateful that God has given me the talent to express myself through song. I really enjoy singing with my brother Marcus on my father's kareoke machine. We especially love singing Backstreet Boys songs.

By: Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Kimberly Kirberger
I enjoyed this book because it was filled with stories by teenagers for teenagers. I also enjoyed the fact that the stories came from the heart and were nonfiction. I recommend this book to all teenagers who have gone through life's ups and downs.

Lion of Oz and the Badge of Courage
By: Roger S. Baum
If you enjoyed reading or seeing the movie The Wizard of Oz, then you will certainly enjoy Lion of Oz and the Badge of Courage. It's a story about a lion who saves Dorothy on her quest back to Oz.

Where the Heart Is
By: Billie Letts
This book turned movie was about a young girl who deals with the struggle of motherhood at an early age. I believe every teenage girl should either see the movie or read the book.

By: Alex Haley
This book about slavery is highly recommended to those interested in history. It is a story about a day in the life of a slave and how he struggled to support his family.

Romeo and Juliet
By: William Shakespeare
Romeo and Juliet has to be my all-time favorite book. It is a classic play about two people who are bound by love but torn by their names.

 Personal Reflection

When looking at this picture, I recall all the sorrow World War I  brought to many people and their families. This picture contains a woman who is holding a scythe over a town. She is the angel of death, and I think this painting signifies the tragedy of the war. I enjoy the way the artist used dark colors to portray a feeling of sadness to the viewers. I also liked  the woman's stance which to me indicates that the war is coming to the next town.
