Mexican Folkloric Dancing

My top-most favorite hobby is dancing in a Mexican folklore dance group. I enjoy it a lot because I have the chance to interact with people and make new friends. What I like most about it is that I have the chance to present to people what was almost forgotten, and that is Mexican culture.

Shopping

Another of my hobbies is shopping. That is a hobby that I can not have enough of. I shop constantly. Sometimes, when I’m broke, I still go window-shopping so I can see what to buy for the following week. Shopping my biggest obsession, and sometimes I think that is a bad thing.

Collecting Monkey Objects

Monkeys are my all-time favorite animals. Ever since I can remember, I have been collecting various monkey objects, from little monkeys, to big ones, from glass monkeys to paper monkeys, form chimpanzees to gorillas. I can never have enough monkeys. Though people think monkeys are obnoxious and hideous, I think they are the best animals, and I love my collection.

Books

Lord of the Flies
    By William Golding
This novel will keep you reading for hours. It tells the story of a group of schoolboys who are abandoned on an island and have to survive. It shows how they turn from a civilized and organized group into uncivilized murderers. This book will keep you wondering who really is The Lord of the Flies.

Cyrano de Bergerac
     E. Rostland
This play is one of the greatest love stories ever told. Cyrano, who has a quite distinguished (huge!) nose, has a crush on his beautiful cousin Roxanne. He is too embarrassed by his big nose to tell her, so he helps his friend Christian who also likes her. Since Cyrano was the poetic type, he helped Christian by writing poems to Roxanne, and saying that they were from Christian; however, he writes them with feelings that he feels for her. When Roxanne finds out really wrote the poems, who will she choose? Well, read to find out.

Tuesdays With Morrie
     Mitch Albom
This book will keep you thinking about life itself. It tells about a man named Mitch who after graduating, lost touch with his professor, Morrie. When he found out that Morrie had a terminal disease that would numb his body to death, Mitch wanted to catch up on the time he had lost. He visited Morrie every Tuesday. Morrie teaches him how to prepare to death and relates how he feels about slowly dying. This book is filled with interesting facts that will amaze you. It is also very sad because it tells how Morrie is slowly dying because of his disease.
