Reading Books
I love to read books when I’m alone or have time to read. I like
fiction, but I read almost anything. When I start to read a book, it’s
hard for me to stop, but, whenever I put something down, I end up forgetting
about it and reading something else. I usually end up reading four or five
books at the same time. I guess I picked this habit up from my mother because
she does the same exact thing.
Walking Around
Walking is also one of my favorite things to do. My friends and
I can spend all day walking around. We don’t always go far, but we spend
at least five hours walking around non-stop. I wouldn’t really say that
we like to walk. We’d rather be driving, but, since none of us have a car,
we have no other way to get around.
This is a wonderful novel about vampires. It is about a girl who writes books under a fake name. Then one day one of her vampire characters comes to life. Things quickly get out of hand. This is a great novel that I could read a million times.
I Won’t Let Them Hurt You
By: Linda Barr
This book is very good. It is about a girl who baby-sits for a little boy, so that she can buy her prom dress. As time goes by, she realizes that there are some strange things about the little boy. She finds bruises on him in odd shapes. When she confronts his parents, they say he just accidentally hurt himself. When she finds out the truth, she promises the boy that she won’t let them hurt him anymore. It is a short, but very good book.
The Girl Who Owned A City
By: O.T. Nelson
This is a book about all the kids in this one
city taking over. It begins when everyone over the age of twelve dies because
of an epidemic. So all the parents are gone, and the kids are left to fend
for themselves.
