Drawing
I just love to draw! I like to draw cartoon characters, and my favorite one to draw is SNOOPY! If I am bored and have absolutely nothing to do, I head straight for a pencil and paper. My siblings get jealous of me because I can draw different things without tracing. I considered being an architect, but I guess I’ll leave that as a hobby considering that there would be a lot of math involved!
Video Games
I really like playing video games. I’m the type who can just play them all day! I like to play my Playstation and my brother’s XBOX. A long time ago I was introduced to video games through the one and only Nintendo! My favorite games to play on these hi-tech game systems are sports games like basketball and baseball. I like these because you can play with the real players! For example, I can hit a homerun with Sammy Sosa, or I can make a slam dunk with Kobe Bryant.
Baseball
Baseball is my favorite hobby because it’s my favorite sport.
Even though I have never watched or been to a real game, I just love playing
it because it is so much fun. Besides playing it on video games, I play
it at parks with my family during the summer. I’ve only been on a
baseball team once, and even though we hardly won any of our games, I just
loved to play it. I think I’m a good first baseman because, everytime
my team needs an out, I’m the right person to catch the ball-- even if
I have to jump really high as if I have springs at the bottom of my feet.
Although I am involved in other sports too, baseball is the number one
sport in my heart.

When it comes to entertainment, I know what I like. My favorite types of entertainment are action/comedy movies and playing baseball. I like movies that are full of action and comedy because I like to get a taste of both laughter and suspense. Playing baseball is also enetertaining for me because I really love the game and it is my favorite sport.
Movies that have both action and comedy are the best. Even though your heart is racing because of the action, you can still get a great laugh in between all of the suspense. Plain action movies get boring because after a while, you just get tired of the kung fu fighting, the explosions, and the car chases. Plain comedies aren’t bad, but when you laugh too much, the plot gets lost. A great example of an action/comedy movie is Rush Hour 2. There is a comic character who gives you the laughs (Chris Tucker) and an action character that makes the “wows!” come out of your mouth (Jackie Chan). This was a great combination, and I enjoyed it.
My second favorite form of entertainment is to “play ball!” When the bat smacks the ball, my heart races just as fast as I race towards first base. I have only been on a baseball team once, and it was so fun. I like playing it whenever or wherever I can. I am always amazed when I see someone like Sammy Sosa hit a homerun. Every time I play baseball, I try to hit the ball far, but it never works. I hope I can finally go to a baseball game someday so I can see how the pros do it.
In conclusion, my favorite types of entertainemnt
are action/comedy movies and playing my favortie sport of baseball. I hope
more action/comedy movies come out and one of these days I also hope I
could finally hit a home run!

To What's Truly There ( a poem about infactuation)
Look on the inside
Not on the outside
A popular phrase
But not much praise
Hearts pounding through chests
Cupids' arrow never at rest
Beware, Beware
To see what's truly there
Destruction of the heart
Is the role of its' part
Not much time
Becoming master of the mind
Drooling endless rivers
That make you quiver
What about the broken heart
That leaves the mark?
Beware, beware
To see what's truly there
Now eyes open wide
And mouths agape
The results are in
What fate has to await
But juts like a dove
Don't give up on love
Beware, beware
To see what's truly there
Tribute to my favorite singer- Aaliyah
Aaliyah Dana Haugton (1979-2001)
An angel who has finally gotten her wings
a sweet and soothing voice
I love it when she sings
she sure is for no doubt one in a million
and her death was such a tragic feeling
of course i will never ever forget
the 22 years on earth she spent
each year of her life was marked by a dove
to show what she was truly made of,
and that was love
Her movies: Romeo Must Die, Queen Of The Damned
CDs: Age ain't nothing but a number, One In A Million, AALIYAH
