There is no doubt that graphics enliven a web page.

At the same time, the over-use of graphics can be a distraction.

Graphics also take up a lot of space and can substantially
lengthen the amount of time it takes to load your page.

Use graphics, but use them wisely.
B. Graphics Files

Each image file that you want to use in your web page must
be saved in you web page folder. (Each image file must be separately uploaded
when you publish your page.)

Browse through the selection of clip art that has been provided
for you, (see Clip Art List) and make a
note of the page number for a few images you might use in your page.

Find and right
click on an image. A pop-up menu will appear.

Left click on Save Image as.A
Save
As box will appear.

Notice that the image file name and
extension are already visible.

Select the A:\ drive and
open your web page folder.

Click on Save.

Directions--MAC
-
Find andclick
on an image. Hold the mouseas you scroll down
the pop up menu that appears.

Release the mouse on Save Image as.ASave
As box will
appear.

Notice that the image file name and

Repeat this process for each image
you want to use.
