Digital Portfolio
Each student will demonstrate their academic progress through a digital portfolio. The portfolio will be presented as a PowerPoint slideshow. Students will compile work completed throughout the school-year (stored in their portfolio file) that they believe represents their progress. All work will be digitized and place in the proper format within a PowerPoint file. All slide presentations will be stored on the school's server. Parents may request access to their child's portfolio by contacting Ms. Manning.
All learning entries include:
PowerPoint hints: Apply one background to all slides. Use same color scheme for title/text of slides. Apply text appearance to slides. Insert additional slides to accommodate entries (description, rubric/guidelines and sample). Add graphics, illustrations, pictures, photos etc. Use spell check.
MSM: goals (syllabus); rubric/assignments for
entries; extended report card message academic anecdotal, progress reports;
access to scanner (photos, samples, etc.); video and audio clips; portfolio
conference; end of the year surveys
