DNA SCIENTISTS

WHO ARE THEY?

1. An Austrian monk who discovered the basics of heredity by breeding pea plants. 
2. Working with fruit flies, this scientist discovers that genes are organized along chromosomes.
3.  In 1928 this scientist worked on a project involving mice and was able to point out that DNA was the molecule of inheritance. 
4.  These scientists  invent genetic engineering by transplanting a gene between bacterium. 
5.  In 1952, these scientists conduct a set of simple but ingenoius experiments using viruses to locate the DNA molecule.They concluded that the genetic material of the virus was DNA rather than protein. They also proved that DNA is genetic information.
