Expectations:
I have high expectations from the children which starts withthem being willing to try to complete their tasks in school.
I believe all children are able to learn.
I expose my students to a variety of literature as well as their reading texts.  Such as poetry for children by Shel Silverstein; stories to build character, such as The Book of Virtues; African-folk tales; and a variety of fiction and non-fiction books for independent reading.
I expect my students to develop good listening skills for an education is obtained by listenig, seeing, and doing the work.
I expect students to come to school willing to be active particiipants in their education which should also extend from school into their homes through homework.
