Objectives of these Activities:

Upon completion of these activities, students will:

•   Have a good understanding of whales
•   Understand the anatomy of whales, especially the different between toothed and baleen whales.
•   Learn about some different catacean species, including the Blue Whale and others

  Understand the ecological importance and the fragility of the population of whales.

Activity Instructions:

  1.  Give each student a print-out. Instructions for printing are below.
  2.  Have each student go to All About Whales
  3.  The student will use All About Whales to answer the questions in the print-out. For
       example, if the question is about the "blue whale," the student should go to the
