This module is
designed to provide WIT participants with a basic knowledge of using a browser
and Book marking as it specifically relates to Netscape
Rationale
Novice
computer users are often afraid to us the internet because they don’t possess
a working knowledge of how to navigate using the browser. This
module will provide them with a step-by-step approach to familiarize them
with the basic features of the Netscape 7.0 browser.
Goals and Objective

provide a step-by-step approach to using a web browser.

- To provide opportunities for students to get better
acquainted with broswer term definitions.

prevent students from becoming loss or overwhelmed with the many features
of a browser.
Audience
This module is designed for teachers who are new to using
a web browser. Additionally, teachers who have a basic knowledge might benefit
using this module as a refresher course.
Prerequisites
A
desire to learn how to correctly use the basic features of a web browser.

Instructional Plan
Participants will have the opportunity to read about and practice ways of:
- using a browser
- completing related work sheets
- testing their acquired knowledge of a browser and its related
parts
Evaluation
- Participants will assess the usefulness of this lesson by
sending comments and suggestions
for improvements to the author via e-mail.
- The mentors will assess the students work by their completion
of handouts and their ability to use a browser.
