Now that you have the images you need saved to your computer, let's insert those images into your web page.
     
 
Inserting Images into Your Web Page
  
  1. Click where you want to place the image. For our purposes, click in the top left cell of the table.  
  2. Click on the "Insert Image" button on the toolbar. A window pops up that looks like this.  
 
 
  3. Click on the "Choose File" button which is next to the empty "Image Location" field.

  4. What you have to do is find the image you want to insert on your computer. You should have saved your images to a folder named after yourself on your desktop. So, click on the down arrow towards the top left of the window and select "Desktop."  
 
 
  5. Double-click on the folder named after yourself and you should see the files and images you have stored in that folder.  
  6. Select the image you want to insert by clicking on it once. In this case, click on "cat" or "chalkboard" or whatever you named it.  
  7. Click on "Open." You should see a file path appear in the field to the left of the "Find" button.  
 
 
  8. Click "OK." The image should appear on your web page.  
 
 
Congratulations! You've just inserted your very first image into your web page. Now, let's go to the next page and learn how to change the appearance of the image you just inserted.
