This is us just outside the Damascus Gate In the bottom right

of the picture, you see part of the Arab Shuk (open market)

This is the Church that was built over Golgotha where

Jesus was crucified and buried. The window on the far

right of the picture is actually atop Golgotha. We walked

up stairs inside to see it.

This is the Anointing stone where it is believe Christ's body

was laid to be prepared for death. People today place items

on the stone to have the blessed.

This is the outside of the tomb of Jesus. It is very ornate

with many candles and lanterns placed around it. We were

able to walk inside the tomb where in the first chamber there

is a glass encased piece of what is said to be the stone that

covered the tomb and was rolled away. Then there is

another chamber where the tomb is.
