 This mosaic is from the area above Galgatha

in the Church of the Holy Seplechre. It is from

the Crusade period and was rehabbed about two

years ago.
This mosaic is behind the annointing stone.

The full mosaic shows Jesus being taken from

the cross, prepared for burial on the stone

and then being placed into the tomb.

In front of the mosaic is Rob (our host) and Doran

our guide through the old city. (Tami has her

back to us).
