ALL ABOUT ME
 
 My name is Mrs. Yolanda Rangel but everyone calls me Yolie.  I am a teacher at Arnold Mireles Academy, where I have been teaching fourth grade for six  years.   Arnold Mireles Academy is a specialty school that has thirteen small schools within it.  I am the facilitator and disciplinarian of my small school called S.M.A.R.T. School.  I am also part of the Leadership Team that over sees the whole school.  My goal is to continue to learn new things and keep updated with technology, so that I can become a better educator.

    1995 - Graduate of National-Lewis University (Bachelor Degree in Education)

    Exercising - power walking, running, swimming and member of the YMCA
    Reading     - Mystery novels
    Traveling   - Traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico, The Caribbean, Canada and
                          different parts of the United States.
    Movies       - Suspense and Mystery movies
    Dancing     - Mostly to Spanish music
    Cooking      - I like to try new receipts.
 
 

SKILLS:
 
    Knowledgeable about computers and type 80 words a minute.  Speak Fluent
    Spanish and have very good communication skills.  Excellent classroom
    management and  organization skills.
